Aurora Cuff

This panel bracelet is Art Nouveau through and through — opals, worn thin at the back where a hand has turned it for a century, set in chased naturalistic goldwork. The work is so even you would swear a machine did it, though none then could. We bought it from an old Magyar estate, with the original receipt still tucked inside the lid. Pieces like this do not come apart; they were built to be handed on.
