Iris Feather

This pendant-brooch is Retro through and through — large citrines, the honey gold more honest than anything cut today, set in bold sculpted volume. The work is so even you would swear a machine did it, though none then could. We bought it from a house in the Loire, with the original receipt still tucked inside the lid. Pieces like this do not come apart; they were built to be handed on.
