Nasturtium Crescent

This spray brooch is Victorian through and through — half-pearls, holding a steady soft cream even in shade, set in hand-chased repoussé. Each stone is closed in its own collet, the way settings were made before machines. We bought it from an old Salzburg family, with the original receipt still tucked inside the lid. It has outlived everyone who owned it and shows no sign of stopping.
