Nightjar Lavalier

A pendant necklace in platinum, old-cut diamonds catching the light along one edge and nowhere else. Whoever made it favoured knife-edge galleries. It is finished on the inside as carefully as on the face, where no one would ever look. It had spent two generations with a Ghent collection before it found its way to us, passed hand to hand and never once sold until now. It is the kind of thing you buy once and never think to replace.
