Passiflora Crescent

A plaque brooch in platinum, old-European-cut diamonds cooler in daylight than you expect, never showy. Whoever made it favoured calibré-cut channel setting. The gallery is sawn through with a saw-blade no thicker than a hair. It had spent two generations with a Karlsbad collection before it found its way to us, passed hand to hand and never once sold until now. Nothing about it was made to impress, which is exactly why it does.
