A Retro pendant-brooch that still fastens as it should.
The story
The whole point of this Retro pendant-brooch is restraint — large citrines, the honey gold more honest than anything cut today, and nothing more than bold sculpted volume. The gallery is sawn through with a saw-blade no thicker than a hair.
The last owner was a house in Haarlem; with a note in the box naming the woman who first wore it. Nothing about it was made to impress, which is exactly why it does.
