The Verdigris Strap

A Georgian panel bracelet, the topaz deepening to warm amber under candlelight. The work is so even you would swear a machine did it, though none then could. It came to us from an estate in the Scottish borders, still in the fitted box it was put away in. Pieces like this do not come apart; they were built to be handed on.
