The story
A sautoir in 18-carat yellow gold, citrines bright at arm's length, quiet up close. Whoever made it favoured sculpted goldsmithing. The work is so even you would swear a machine did it, though none then could.
It had spent two generations with a Highland family before it found its way to us, passed hand to hand and never once sold until now. Pieces like this do not come apart; they were built to be handed on.
